My first day in Australia

My name is Joanna. I arrived in Sydney on 5 september, 2008. I didn't sleep much on the plane. I wached movies and also talked with my partner, Michael.

We arrived in the morning. Nobody was waiting for us. We didn't know anybody in Australia.

First night we stayed at backpackers in King Cross. It was a very exiting experience, especially at night.

For me, a girl born in small city, everything looked big and amazing.

I felt like an " Alice in the Wonderland"
